OK, I asked a trick question.
Although Mini-Dv is allowing for an explosion in people trying to make a movie and sell it...
Probably way more mini-dv movies are being sold than super-8....however,
It is also possible that a HIGHER PERCENTAGE of Super-8 films get sold than the percentage of mini-dv movies that are sold.
...and that is food for thought.

If 100 individuals each decided to make their own movie in mini-dv, and another 100 individuals each decided to make their own movie with Super-8...which group of 100 movies would have the higher success rate in terms of selling their movie?

The 1 guy/gal who made a good movie?
Even one percent is probably pushing it, no matter the format.
